Walworth County Economic Development Alliance (WCEDA) is seeking a dedicated, passionate person who enjoys working with municipal leaders, major employers, builders and developers, and resource partners, including state and federal agencies. This position will be responsible for working with municipalities within Walworth County to assist them with workforce housing development efforts. The position will report to WCEDA’s Executive Director, and it may also receive input from an advisory committee that developed out of a recent Community Health Improvement Plan update that was conducted by Walworth County in 2022.
The Project Manager would convene meetings between municipal leaders and prospective developers, consultants, and resource partners. This person would do research on existing data and local or regional models of ways to make market rate housing more affordable to local workers through public/private collaborations. This role will also involve regular reporting to individual municipalities and to the county that may involve multimedia presentations.
